VELLARADA: The 148th Manikur Prayer Prayer Prayer Ceremony, a pilgrimage to peace in India, has begun at South Kurisumala. Bishop of Punalur inaugurated the celebration. The bishop called on the restoration of peace in the absence of hypocrisy and that Christians should pray for the peace of the country.
Kurisumala Director Mon. Vicente K Peter, Fr.Prasad Theruvathu, Kurisumala Parish Vicar Rev.Fr.Ratheesh Marcos, Sister Suzamma Joseph, Kurisumala Secretary Sabu Kurisumala, Rajendran and Jayanthi addressed the gathering. Following the event on the third day of the Kurisumala Bible Convention, Bishop Dr. Selvister Ponnumuthanam presented the Pentecostal Divine Sacrifice. The 148 hour night prayer for peace began on the 5th cross.
