More than twenty catholic pages got blocked in the last 24hrs with no explanations. The administrators of the affected pages are mostly from Brazil, US and Africa. Most of the pages had a huge number of followers between hundreds and millions.  The admins and the followers are still unaware of the reasons for the page block while Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, rejected the allegations and met with the conservative US leaders to ensure Facebook neutrality.

As reported by the Catholic News Agency, Godwin Delali Adadzie, administrator of a blocked page named ‘Jesus and Mary’ which had 1.7million followers said, “I was on Facebook around 8 p.m and I was asked to upload my photo because my personal account had been suspected of suspicious activities.” Further, he continued, “After several minutes, I was allowed back into my personal account which had notifications informing me that my page had been disabled.”

The administrators are now anticipating the Facebook to respond to their queries in this regard .The reasons behind blocking the pages are still unaware.
