While the Indian Church tries her level best to release of Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil, an act of children has received the attention of thousands people. Sixty kids aged between 4-5 years belonging to Sacred Heart Church at Kumbalangi near Kochi dressed as infant Jesus have written letters to the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi seeking interference for the early release of Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil who was kidnapped by suspected ISIS militants in Yemen.
The letters written in English, Hindi and Malayalam with the help of parents and priests which was handed over to Ernakulam MP Professor KV Thomas. MP K.V. Thomas said that he along with parish priests and 20 other members are going to Delhi and will try to meet PM soon.
Earlier, for the release of 55 year old Salesian priest, Father Tom Uzhunnalil who was kidnapped in march 2016, special prayers and candle light vigils were held in various parts of Kerala.
