Abu Dhabi: The Sacred Eucharistic Sacrifice, Confession, Discussion and Music is the culmination of a three-day golden jubilee celebration on the Arabian soil of Jesus Youth Movement, a youth organization with a passion for music. The celebrations, which began on Saturday at St. Anthony’s Church in Ras al Khaimah, ended on Monday. The main theme of the celebration was the Gospel verse, “Do what he says to you” (John 2: 5). Pope Francis has declared absolution for all participants of the Jubilee celebrations.

In his speech, the Apostolic Representative said that we are alive because we share the joy of meeting with Jesus.
He pointed out that the Jesus Youth Movement now operates in 35 countries and is responsible for the unwavering hunger of the members of Jesus Youth for Jesus and the Truth. The three day event was based on one of the main themes of the event. Syro Malankara Major Archbishop Cardinal Baselios Cleemis Catholica Bawa, Shamshabad Diocese Bishop Mar Rafael Tattil, Palakkad Diocese Mar Jacob Manathodath and others were present at the event.
Jesus Youth Movement, which describes itself as ‘Missionary Movement from the heart of the Church’, was established in Kerala in 1985 with the objective of evangelizing the youth and nourishing the missionary field. The organization sowed its first seeds in the UAE through a fellowship launched in Dubai in 1994. The organization has a strong presence in Catholic parishes throughout the UAE.
