Archbishop Mar Joseph Perunthottam says abortion is legalized by those who do not value life. He was speaking after inaugurating a protest march organized by the Archdiocese of Changanassery on the grounds of the Bus Stand Ground for the repeal of the MTP Act under the auspices of the Jeevan Jyotis Pro-life Cell. The Church is in the struggle against this because it extends the abortion period to 24 weeks, affecting not only the people but the entire humanity. Mar Perunthottam said that the law of destruction of human life cannot be accepted by civilized society and the believers cannot accept it.
Mar Thomas flagged off the floor to help with a protest rally that started from the Archbishop’s House. The bus stand at the rally’s central junction ended at the stadium. Activists participated in the rally with their mouths covered. Hundreds of pro-life activists from various parts of the Archdiocese rallied. Director of the Archdiocese Family Apostolic Fr.
