DUBLIN: Hollywood star John Rice has said that the Christian faith is everything that modern society values. John Rhys Davies, who played prominent roles in Indiana Jones and I’m Patrick, shared his conviction on “The Lucas Miles Show.” He plays the role of Saint Patrick in the movie I’m Patrick, which premieres next week. He describes himself as a rationalist in the belief of God. In an interview with The Christian Post last month, John Rhys-Davies stated that the Christian faith should be indebted to the contributions of the Christian faith to the growth and survival of society.
In quoting this, Lucas Miles, the anchor of The Lucas Miles Show, responded to the question by expressing the greatness of the Christian faith. John Rhys replied that fifty and sixty years ago, when he was a student, everything that we now regard as valuable is formed from the Christian faith and that is why he is upholding the Christian faith in public. In the second century, when the emperor of Rome ordered Christians to accept Gentile beliefs, John Rice explained that they were worshiping a different god and that the Christians were free to do so.
John Rice said that the greatest glory of the Christian faith is the abolition of slavery. Ireland’s Apostolic Saint Patrick, a real-life film, will be released to theaters on March 17 and 18, with the release of ‘I’m Patrick: The Patron Saint of Ireland’.
