New Orleans: The coronavirus has been confirmed to Archbishop Gregory Aimead, president of the Archdiocese of New Orleans in the United States. Gregory AiMed was the first American bishop to capture Corona. He said that he had had few symptoms, such as fever, for a few days, and that he had been diagnosed with Covid 19, as a precautionary test.
He is now in the Quarantine so as not to injure others. He has informed people who have come in contact with him so far. The days in the Quarantine will be set aside to pray for other sick people. He said he would share his thoughts on the crisis and the power of divine healing in the days ahead, through his Facebook page and the Archdiocese’s website.
Gregory Aimead, who has been serving as Archbishop of the Archdiocese of New Orleans since 2009, is seventy years old. Prior to this, he served as assistant bishop of New Orleans and bishop of the Diocese of Austin. Corona has confirmed to five American clergy so far.
A Franciscan monk in Washington died on Friday due to Kovid-19. As of Monday, Corona had about 366,000 people worldwide. 16000 people died. Sixty clergy have died of Covid-19 in Italy so far.
