Nashville: The Nashville Diocese of the US state of Tennessee is marveling at the zeal of the Christians in India. Mark Spalding. He responded to the two-week-long visit to India. He called the Christians of India “a society of faith.” He reminded that Catholics in India are a religious minority and not a small number.
Bishop said Catholic schools, hospitals, and orphanages are the best in the country. While India is blessed in many areas, poverty is a country facing a crisis. He said he was happy to see the Church of India grow as a faith community through its educational and professional activities. The Bishop began his tour in India by visiting the sacred places where he had previously buried St. Alphonsa and Chavarayachan.
From January 15 to 29, the bishop of Kerala met with family members and church officials of the diocese. Associate Vicar of the Lady of the Lake Church in Hendersonville and CMI Fr. The bishop’s visit was overseen by Thomas. There are six CMI clergymen, four missionaries of Francis de Salas Church and one Franciscan priest who serves in the diocese of Nashville. There are 76,140 Catholics in the diocese.
