Dublin: The clergyman’s service has been well received by the community at the St. Mark’s Church in Tala, Dublin, the capital of Ireland. As lockdown restrictions remain stringent, Fr. Pat McKinley, a clergyman, initiated the confession in his parish by keeping a social distance. He has made it possible to confess twice a day, every hour.
Fr McKinley said in an interview with the radio that the faithful are coming to the confessional the whole time. He revealed that even after the first reception, even those who had not yet confessed had come to know about this facility. However, the clergy’s confession of social distance has become viral in the new media.
