Westminster: The Anglican Church offered grace and gratitude for the Canonization of Cardinal John Henry Newman, who received faith from the Anglican Church and became a profound spiritual leader and teacher of the church. The Holy Qurbana on account of the addition of Cardinal Newman into the group of saints for the church was celebrated at the Westminster Cathedral Church on 19th October 2019.
The Canterbury Major Archbishop, Bishop Justin Welby celebrated the Holy Qurbana and gave the homily. He mentioned Cardinal Newman as a role model of a goal-oriented disciple. Faithful thronged in large numbers to the venue to participate in the celebrations of the canonization of Cardinal John Henry Newman.
