Kochi: The Syro-Malabar Almighty Commission office bearers have condemned the efforts of anti-ecclesiastical forces seeking to discredit the clergy and nuns of the church by removing them from the monastic society due to obvious discipline. It is unacceptable to try to blame the church for the wrongs they have done in their lives by abusing their own personalities and privileges for selfish purposes. The meeting condemned the sad state of affairs of Kerala and anti-nationalists who are continuously mobilizing such reactionary thoughts against the church.

Thousands of clergy and nuns have been proud of the community for thousands of years, serving as the welfare of the people and serving God’s people for centuries. When there are problems or isolated traumas in church life, there are many avenues to resolve the issues within the church.

The meeting requested the public and the general public to be vigilant against such social calamities and the wise people should refrain from promoting disabilities. Alamo Forum Secretary Adv. Jose Vithayathil, Catholic Congress Global President Adv. Biju Sayinilalam, Secretary Thomas Peedika, Mathrubhumi President K.V. Rithamma, Rosalie Paul Tattil, and others spoke.
