Ogadogo: The Sisters of the Immaculate Conception (SIC), a local church, have dedicated themselves to the cause of death in Burkina Faso, where terrorism has threatened continuously. The Aid to the Church in Need (ACN), a Pontifical NGO, tells the story of the courageous actions of these saints. Sister Pauline Sawagado, General Superior of the SIC, and her predecessor, Sister Mary Bernadette Roumba, revealed that their lives were in a state of insecurity and that many people, including their wives and children, were killed by the terrorists.
Asked whether you have witnessed the escalating terrorist attacks in the country, she said that their Sisters in the north of the country have been witnessing daily and that the terrorists have settled just 2 miles from where the Sisters of Baum reside. Their Sisters care for thirty to sixty refugees in the north of the country. About 300 homeless people live in the capital city of Aigadougou alone. The nuns added that they need food, water, soap, and compassionate treatment.
