His Excellency Bishop Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurackal, the newly appointed Curia Bishop of the SyroMalabar Church, while addressing the gathered galaxy of intellectual at Animation Renewal Centre (ARC), Panvel, for “EVA- Global Symposium of Life” conveyed many challenges faced by the humanity to protect life. His Grace Bishop Mar Sebastian also highlighted the responsibilities of a Christian to protect the sanctity of life and reminded that human beings are created in the image of God, which makes each and every one a representative of God.
His Grace Bishop Mar Sebastian remarked that “The maternal and child health in India needs to be improved and this is our moral responsibility to fight for life. The Christian concept of life is to initiate a norm to protect human life.” Further, His Excellency Bishop added,” This Symposium is a great response to protect each and every human life and I hope this venture will grow to enlight everyone and reach to everyone.”
His Excellency Bishop Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurackal also highlighted many challenges faced by an individual for life in India and many other countries due to the insufficient involvement of the government. His Grace Bishop Mar Sebastian concluded his remarks by congratulating everyone who worked behind this Symposium with an aim to promote the culture of life and exhorted “Anything that is Pro-Life is Pro-Christ.”
