Kochi/ Rome: KCBC Prez Soosa Pakiam still under critical care. The Bishops attending the Ad Limina Meet offered special prayers for the speedy recovery of His Excellency Archbishop Soosa Pakiam. Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar George Alencherry requested the faithful to pray for the recovery of Pakiam. The Cardinal has informed the Pontiff about the static situation of the Latin bishop’s health and sought his blessings for the latter.
Concluding his Ad Limina Meet in Rome, the Archbishop was returning from the journey, when he suffered from deteriorating health at Doha. After administering preliminary medical attention, he was allowed to complete his air travel to Kerala. From the airport, he was immediately rushed to the Jubilee Hospital, following which he was shifted to Kings Hospital on medical advice. As per the doctor’s report, H.E. Pakiam’s health is still in static condition and no improvement is seen in his condition. The Archbishop is still in the Intensive Care Unit of Kings Hospital, Cochin.
