His Excellency Archbishop Mar Perumthottam of Changanasserry while addressing the gathering at ‘Ultsav-18’, cultural and arts programme organized by Marthoma Vidyaniketan Samskarika Vedhi, conveyed the significance of arts and philosophy in life. His Grace Archbishop highlighted that arts and philosophy should be the tools for portraying the truths in life.
As reported by deepika.com, Mar Perumthottam remarked that “A real art is a portrayal of philosophy and beauty. Artists and philosophers should not pull themselves back from revealing the truths of the society through their arts.”
Vicar General Msgr. James Palaykkal presided over the meeting. Many cultural programmes were presented in the event which showcased the real beauty of different traditions and religions.
