His Eminence Cardinal Wilfrid Napier, Archbishop of Durban conveyed his straight opposition to the views of BBC and accused BBC of propagating negativity by imprinting “Evil is good” in the minds of the audience. His Lordship also expressed his disappointments on the ways BBC adopts to undermine Christian moral values through its contents.
As reported by catholicherald.co.uk, His Eminence tweeted that “Hardly a day passes without the BBC promoting abortion, homosexuality, etc. and usual tactic is to identify a particular country, then isolate it as abnormal for outlawing xy or z”
The tweet followed once after the BBC reported Chilean constitutional court’s approval of the abortion bill, with a picture of a joyous woman celebrating the decision. The BBC has declined to comment on His Eminence Cardinal Napier’s accusation.
