A book giving a firsthand account on the life of St. Mother Teresa will be released on September 6, 2022. The book, written by Jim Towey, will be titled ‘To Love and Be Loved.’ He served as the trusted advisor of Mother Teresa for twelve years.

The month of September marks the 25th death anniversary of Mother Teresa. “The book is really a desire on my part to capture the beauty of Mother Teresa’s humanity,” remarks Jim Towey. Through this book, the author has tried to capture how Mother Teresa was everywhere for the poor, being their hope and salvation.
The author has worked with the Missionaries of Charity, the congregation founded by St. Mother Teresa, for nearly 37 years. He has served in 139 countries globally.
