Sao Paulo: A priest who has been blessed with homosexuality in the South American country of Brazil has been suspended from church services and has been ordained. On December 11, Fr. Vincent Paulo Gomez is exempted from the duties of the diocese of Assisi. The clergyman says that even though the sacrament is not given to you, it is a blessing.
The diocese’s chief said that there was a serious failure on the part of the clergyman. Bishop Arguemiro de Acevedo signed the suspension order. The Brazilian church has also taken strong action against clergy who supported same-sex marriage.
