London: The British people celebrated the feast of St. George, the saint of England in the wake of the Corona expansion, by placing the English flag at their home. Already, the British people have been advised that the feast of this year should be accompanied by the hoisting of the English flag. Officials have suggested that instead of going outside to buy the flag, use the old flag at home.
The feast day of Saint George was celebrated yesterday (April 23) by the British Christian community. Saint’s feast is celebrated with great fervor, especially in Nottingham. The St. George’s Day Parade, which is attended by about 20,000 people, is very special. The local council spokesperson said that since there is a proposal to keep social distance after Corona, people are sorry to be not able to celebrate St. George’s Day outside this year.
Philip Davies, a Conservative Party representative from Shipley, West Yorkshire, has said he was proud to be celebrating St. George’s feast indoors amongst the great pandemic danger.
