NEW DELHI: St. Mary’s Thresia Buradi parish has been distributing food to people suffering from hunger due to lack of work owing to COVID 19, being in lockdown for more than forty days. Archbishop Kuriakose Pallikulangara, the shepherd of the Faridabad diocese, has come to lead the initiative.
Under the direction of the Bishop, the diocese’s social service organization and various parishes and organizations have been providing services such as food distribution, distribution of food, security kits, and sanitary kits. The Archbishop urged that many people suffer from hunger in the wake of the lockdown and that various parishes and organizations that support them should continue to be vigorous.
