The Ordination of a seminarian belonging to the Congregation of the Sons of the Divine Providence in Poland took place in Hospital on May 24, 2019. The 31-year-old seminarian named Michael Los was diagnosed with an acute form of Cancer one month ago. Michael Los was pursuing graduation from the Major Seminary of Saint Luigi Orion. Before losing the battle to Cancer Michael was desperate to receive the sacrament of the Holy Orders and celebrate the Holy Mass at least once.
Michael Los had his dream come true on Friday, May 24 when Auxiliary Bishop Marek Solarczyk of the Warsaw-Praga diocese visited him in the hospital. Was Having obtained the prior approval from Pope Francis, Fr Michael was first raised to the position of Diaconate and then given the sacrament of Holy Orders. Having able to fulfil the dream of embracing priesthood, Fr Michael thanked everyone for their prayers and blessings.
