Manila: Archbishop Luis Antonio Tagle, who has been appointed head of the Vatican Congregation for evangelism, said that all life must be in the Eucharist and that all we do is in the name of God. He was addressing believers at the Cathedral Church of Manila yesterday with gratitude. Always thank God. God’s plans are not our plans, but trust that He is good and His mercy endures forever. The Cardinal also said that his whole body and mind are dedicated to God and give thanks.
About 2,000 believers participated in the Holy Mass, which was offered at the Cathedral of the Mother of God in Manila. Ninety bishops who lead the ministry in different parts of the country participated in the function. He was promoted to Archbishop of Manila in December 2011. The following year, Pope Benedict XVI elevated him to the rank of Cardinal. This past December, Pope Francis has elevated Cardinal Tagle as head of the Vatican Congregation for Evangelization. He will take on a new mission in a few days.
