LONDON: Catholic Anglican bishops from Europe and North America led the Holy Land Coordination Group to support the Christian community in the Holy Land and Gaza this year. The Holland Coordination 2020 (HLC20), aimed at promoting peace and dialogue, is scheduled for January 11-16. For the past two decades, the combined bishop has been visiting the Holy Land without any hindrance. The Holy Land Coordination Group is headed by the Bishop of England and Wales.
On January 12, the bishops will offer a sacrificial feast along with the small Christian community in Gaza. In addition to visiting the House of Peace, Missionaries of Charity run by the House of Peace, the Congo Sisters of Bethany, and the schools of the parishes of Ramallah, the youth meet and patient visit will be part of HLC20. The delegation will meet with the Archbishop Pisabella and the Newnshaw Archbishop Girelli, the Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarchate of the Holy Land. The bishops also plan to hold talks with Palestinian and Israeli officials to discuss the current situation.
