Munich: Pope Emirates Benedict XVI has threatened the Catholic Church with the worldwide dictatorship of humanist ideologies globally. This quote by Benedict XVI is included in the last chapter of the new biography of Benedict XVI by the famous German author Peter Sewald. The German Catholic News Agency (KNA) reports that he cited homosexuality, abortion, and human creation through laboratories as examples of what he said.
The former pope pointed out that modern society is trying to create an ‘anti-Christian’ society. Those who resist it suffer punishment, such as expulsion from society. In describing the state of the church in this century, he noted that recent events indicate that the crisis of faith has become a crisis of ‘Christian existence’. In an interview with Seewald, the former pope described the reasons for his retirement.
He has repeatedly said he resigned not because of high-profile accusations or scandals at the Vatican. In a conditional declaration of retirement signed by Saint Paul VI and John Paul II, he stated that he would retire in a condition that prevented him from fulfilling his duties properly, and that he had done so shortly. A new biography of Benedict XVI by Sewald was released in Germany on May 4. The English version is expected to be released on November 17.
