Fr. Jervis D’souza of the Archdiocese of Bombay, former Judicial Vicar, currently the Director of the Orientation Programme at St. Pius X College (seminary) and Deputy Secretary of Western Region Bishops’ Council has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary General of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India with effect from 1st June, 2018.
His appointment was ratified at the 33rd General Body Meeting of CBCI that began at the St John’s Medical College auditorium in Bengaluru on February 2 will conclude on 9th February, 2018.
The Archdiocese of Bombay has congratulated the newly appointed Deputy Secretary-General and wished him the very best as he takes charge.
