Rome: The talks between Italian bishops’ conference representatives and Italian government officials have finally reached an agreement to open the shrines that have been shut down for fear of coronavirus. Permission has been given to offer ecclesiastical services with the participation of devotees in the churches from May 18. The government specifically reminded the authorities and the believers to be prepared to meet certain strict rules for the safety of believers. The terms laid down on this basis are as follows.
Follow the social distance: the believers in the temple of the Holy Mass must reach at least from a distance.
Restrictions on the Temple Door: At the entrance of each school, there should be volunteers wearing masks and gloves. Their mission is to understand the space limitations of each school and to allow access to a large number of believers in order to ensure social mobility.
Two Doors: The entry and exit of the door must be through two different doors. In addition, believers must strictly adhere to a distance of one and a half meters during this time.
Controlling the fever: Doctors must specifically inform the believer that those who have a fever, who are over 37.5, and who have had contact with COVID patients in earlier days should not visit the temple.
Special seats for Member Limits: Separate seats should be set up for them in the pulpit to encourage the participation of devoted believers.
Adjust the sanitizer: The sanitizer should be made available for use by believers in the pantry. Also, the school should be cleaned.
Liturgical controls: Greetings of peace amidst the Mass are strictly prohibited. The clergyman should wear a mask and wash his hands with a sanitizer before giving the Mass. Direct collecting of pledges in places is also prohibited. Holy confession can be done by ensuring social distance.
Marriage, baptism, and burial: All laws set forth herein apply to liturgical celebrations, weddings, and funerals. In addition, care should be taken to carry out these services where possible. In the special case of COVID, the clergy should inform the believers that there is an exemption for the elderly and those who are ill from participating in rituals on Sundays and on the Feast of Debates.
In Italy, the Italian government has reached a decision to open the mosque in negotiations after the concession on lockdown terms from May 4. This decision is a happy one for many thousands of believers who have not been able to attend VC for nearly two months. They are also comforted by the fact that they are able to go and pray in the pulpit for their loved ones who have been trapped in the arms of Covid.
