Changanassery Archdiocese will dedicate 23rd February, 2018, as the day of Fasting and Prayers, by remembering the sufferings of South-Sudan and Congo countries amid their wars. The prayer intention also includes the people of Madagascar who have been suffering due to environmental destructions in the country and this intention is a reflection of Holy Father Pope Francis’ words, who had highlighted the troubles and worries of Malagasies earlier.
His Excellency Mar Joseph Perumthottam, Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Arch eparchy of Changanassery, has informed the directors of all the institutions, religious centers, Churches, under the archdiocese, to follow the day of fasting with great faith and good deeds.
