Changanacherry: Church joint committee of the state government to implement the Act to remove the uninterrupted freedom guaranteed by the Indian Constitution, 25,26, along with the clergy of the various duties of the center of the Archdiocese of Changanacherry, Pala, and so on.
The property of the Church is based on the shared spirit which has existed since the time of the early Church, in accordance with the provisions of the Hierarchy and Canon law, including the provisions of the General Assembly, the House of Representatives and the Council of Pastors. The Bill can only be seen as a cunning attempt to destroy the legal system and to control the influence of the Church and the property of the government and political parties.

There is no need for a new tribunal, as the church’s property disputes are currently subject to court proceedings. Obviously, the decisions of the tribunal will be political. It is suspected that when the wealth is under government control, there is the possibility of political interference in religious training, rituals and faith matters. Therefore, the Joint Committee of the Diocese has called for the government to withdraw from all direct and indirect efforts to enact a law that does not apply to other religions.

The meeting was inaugurated by Mar Joseph Perunthottam, Metropolitan of Changanacherry. The parish chapel meeting was presided over by the Mar Mathew Arakkal, Bishop of the Diocese of Kanjirappally, Mar George Rajendran- Takkala diocese, Vicar Generals and other clergymen of the diocese.
