BEIJING – A letter from Catholics demanding the end of the Vatican – China deal. Believers have written to China’s leading international Catholic press, the Catholic Herald. The letter also mentions the atrocities, torture and organ trafficking of China against its own citizens and the findings of the China Tribunal, presided over by Sir Geoffrey Nice, former prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
The Chinese Tribunal found that organ removal and torture were taking place in Chinese prisons. If people die when the organ is removed, it can lead to brain death. In addition, sexual harassment is also widespread. Electric shock shock and the use of a ‘tiger chair’ are some other forms of torture. According to the report, a woman lost her eyesight as the shock approached. Catholics who have signed the letter have accused the authorities of supporting the Vatican-China deal, in spite of numerous evidence of China’s atrocities.
It is also worth noting that in the letter, Bishop Marcelo Sanjos, head of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, criticizes the Chinese government’s behavior and criticizes soda. The signatories also questioned Hong Kong Cardinal Joseph Sen’s failure to sign the Vatican-China agreement.
Human rights activist Benedict Rogers, Professor Philip Booth of St. Mary’s University, and Joseph Shaw, president of the Latin Mass Society, are some of the key people who signed the letter. Last month, Texas Aid, a non-governmental organization based in Texas, reported that the Communist administration’s efforts to promote religion in China are increasing violence against Christians.
