Pala Bishop Mar Joseph Kallarangadu has begun the Community Kitchen with the help of the Pala Municipality. A visit to the Community Kitchen was held yesterday morning at 11 am. He said the community appreciates the cooks in the kitchen and those who are socially committed to feeding the needy are part of the initiative in this time when the community is in distress.
The Bishop said that not only the community kitchen in Palai but all the clergy were instructed to help as much as possible. Municipal Council Chairperson Mary Dominic, Secretary Mohammed Haseeb, Councilors Binu Pulikakkandam, Tommy Tharukunnel Joby Vellappani, Biju Palupadavil, Giji Johny, CG Prasad, Pala Diocese Procurator Fr. Jose Nellikkatruvil was also present.
