WASHINGTON, DC: The results of the survey reveals that Americans’ faith in God is growing as they struggle with the world’s most dangerous pandemic- the coronavirus. According to a survey released by the Pew Research Center on April 30, nearly a quarter of the American population has admitted to increasing their faith in God during the coronary epidemic. Around 27% of Catholics surveyed admitted that their belief in God had increased. Only 2 percent said they had lost faith.
According to the survey, 63% of respondents believed that there was no change in their faith. Only seven percent of respondents said they did not believe in any religion and therefore did not need this question. African Americans reported the highest increase in faith (41%). Followed by Hispanics (40%), followed by white people (20%). The survey also showed that there is an increase in faith in women among men than in men.
Fordham University’s survey released on April 28 had similar results. According to the survey, 68% of those who regularly go to church admit their faith helped them during their Coronation. The Pew Research Center conducted an online survey of 10,000 people, and Fordham University conducted a telephone survey of 1003 participants.
