Florida: Pictures of nurses in hospitals in Florida and Tennessee raising their hands to God in the midst of the United States’ inability to control the corona spread have gone viral on social media. In an image posted on Twitter by Jackson South Medical Center in Florida, eight people are seen kneeling on top of a hospital building. As of Wednesday, Jackson South Medical Center had confirmed the coronavirus was among 82 people treated. More than 10,000 people have been diagnosed with the virus so far in the state.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Tennessee has released pictures of five nurses praying on the helipad. The tweet is titled “Sharing the Beautiful Picture of Nurses Praying on the Helipad for Colleagues, Patients, Their Family, and Caregivers.” A video of nurses and doctors praying in Jesus’ name came out last week as they kneeled at a hospital treating COVID patients. The United States has become one of the sickest countries in the world. It is in this context that prayer becomes active in various hospitals.
