Thiruvambady: A Malayalee nun has died after being infected with COVID 19 in the North American country of Mexico. The deceased is Sister Adalda, daughter of the late Varkey from Thiruvambady Ponnankayam, Kozhikode. He was 67 years old. Sister Adalda was a member of the Missionaries of Charity, founded by St. Mother Teresa, and served as a missionary in Mexico. She was treated for a week with COVID, but died this morning. COVID 19 affects more than 1,47,000 people in the country. Of these, 17141 died.
