Thrissur: Pavaratti, a popular pilgrimage site in the name of Saint Joseph, was made a feast of St. Joseph’s Church. Due to the extension of COVID 19 Lockdown, the feast day of May 2 and 3, 2020, has been omitted to comply with the government directives.
At the decision of the church authorities and the church committee, the divine sacrifice with the participation of the people was excluded. However, the parish priest, Rev. Fr. Fr. Paul, said that all the events were conducted in real-time through the San Jose Voice YouTube channel and the TCV channel. Johnson Einickal reported.
