PHILADELPHIA: Six Jesuit clergymen have died in Philadelphia, USA, following a coronavirus. The clergy, aged between 77 and 93, were found dead in a retirement home, Manresa Hall, near St. Joseph’s University. All died at nearby hospitals. Fr. G. Richard Daimler, Fr. John Lanche, Fr. Francis Mowan, Fr. John Kelly, Fr. Michael Hirko, Fr. And Edward Doherty, both clergymen. Manresa Hall was closed on April 17 after the virus was confirmed to all clergy living in retirement homes. It reopened on April 25th.

Mike Gabrielle, the spokesman for the Maryland province of the Jesuit, said the returning clergy were healthy. The Jesu Monitors the health of the people living in the centers of the church. Medical kits have been provided to combat the virus. All the clergy of the Jesuits are deeply saddened by the death of fellow clergymen. Mike Gabrielle added that all members of the congregation pray for the corona and those who care for them.
