Holy Father Pope Francis while addressing the joyful youth of Colombia gathered at Bogota’s Bolivar Square conveyed the significance of having a dream in life and asked them to have the dare to dream big by inviting the young faithful to dream about a peaceful future of Colombia. His Holiness also highlighted the fact that young Colombians have endured difficult and dark moments and how contexts of death, pain and division can impact so deeply that they have left the nation half-dazed.
As reported by Vatican Radio, Holy Father Pope Francis remarked that “Do not let anyone rob you of joy, look after that joy which unites everyone in the knowledge that the flame of Jesus’ love is sufficient to set the whole world ablaze.” Further, His Holiness added, “The youthfulness makes one capable of forgiving and leaving behind what has hurt us to look to the future without the burden of hatred.”
His Holiness Pope Francis concluded his message to the young faithful in Colombia by reminding them that “Colombia needs you!!”
