Today, the Diocese of Kalyan observes the 10th day of the Extra Ordinary Month Of Mission in commemoration of Saint Francis Xavier. Following the Papal Encyclical, the catholic Church celebrated October 2019 as the month of extraordinary missionary activities and service.
The Pontiff, declares selfless service and zealous missionary activities are the envisioning of truthful evangelization. Today, when the world needs missionaries to work for those who don’t have a voice, let us make St. Francis Xavier our role model and live a life similar to his. Following the footsteps of this Saint, who is regarded as one of the greatest missionaries since St. Paul, let us also fulfill our Evangelical duties by means of selfless service for humanity.
