As per the encyclical issued by the Papal Council, the Diocese of Kalyan celebrates the Extraordinary Month of Mission. Today, the twenty-fifth day of this dedicated month is observed as the day of fasting for the cause of mission.
In a world where we are filled with abundance and luxurious, let us remember all the impoverished and underprivileged families in the mission areas and backward societies. Also, let us fulfill this fasting dedicatedly for all the missionaries who tirelessly work for the welfare of such social situations.
Let us observe this fast with utmost sincerity and devotion, and let us pray for the mission activities, mission areas and the residents of the mission regions, who are in need of the ‘Christ presence’ in their lives.
