Sin could never touch Mary as she was chosen by God even before she was born and that’s why she’s called the Immaculate conception as she was born without the original sin. Mary kept praying for the coming of the saviour through her as she took part in the salvation history. She gave her only son to be crucified for the sinners. She has been a refuge and a safe port for sinners since Jesus’ crucifixion. Each time we fall into sin her maternal heart wants to rush to our aid. Mary’s mantle has been the safest place for us sinners. She loves us so much that she intercedes for us to her son. Mary is the refuge of sinners, let us aknowledge our sins and weaknesses and seek the intercession of our lady because she longs for us to reach the eternal reward. When the world is moving towards a situation where many sins aren’t sins anymore, let us pray to our lady that we may too be as holy as she is because if the mother is holy the kids need to be holy. Refuge of sinners : pray for us !
