London: Safia Amiera Sheikh, 36, has pleaded guilty to a charge of plotting to bomb a historic hotel in central London’s St. Paul’s Cathedral. In a statement before Justice Sweeney yesterday at the Old Bailey Court, Sheikh admitted that he planned the attack on the cathedral. They also revealed that the target was to carry out suicide attacks at the cathedral.

Safiya, known as the Islamic State Reporter, was arrested last year. A native of Hays, Middlesex, their first name was Mitchell Ramsden. In 2007, the name was changed. A policeman who approached them in Mufti was arrested after he was asked to supply bombs for the blast.
