The Department of Catechesis is organising Teachers’ Day 2019 for all the Catechism teachers in the Diocese of Kalyan. The invitation was sent out in the name of Department Director, Rev. Fr. Biju Mannamcherril.
The event is scheduled to happen at the St. Mary’s High School, Andheri West. As per the schedule, the day would begin with a Bible Retreat. The retreat is said to be conducted by renowned Bible preacher Rev. Fr. Thomas Valanmanal followed by adoration, lunch and public meeting.
Succeeding the General gathering, the Department of Catechesis intends to felicitate the best Catechism units under the prescribed categories. Further, the department also plans to honor the highest scorers of the previous academic year’s Scholarship Examinations. The program would facilitate the outgoing Asst. Director, Rev. Fr. Jobymon Jose and the teachers who have completed five, ten and fifteen years of service in the Department of Catechesis.
