His Eminence Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis, Major Archbishop of Syro-Malankara Church and the president of CBCI, conveyed that developments for the society should be prioritized and should be seen beyond religions in order to create a harmonious and well-progressed world. Mar Cleemis was addressing the intellectual crowd gathered for the 57th annual celebration of ‘Karmolsavam 2018’ of Malankara Social Service Society.
As reported by lifedayonline.com, His Eminence Mar Cleemis remarked that “My dream for this year is to implement ‘Hungerless Ananthapuram’ in which at least a ‘one-time’ meal could be provided to the underprivileged and the starved ones and I urge your support for this.” Mar Cleemis honored Fr. Bovaz Mathew, the former director of Malankara Social Service Society. Mathew T. Thomas, the minister for water resources in Government of Kerala, inaugurated the function.
