In an interview, Italian priest Sante Babolin, who is also an exorcist, conveyed the significance of Mother Mary in an exorcism and asserted that the strongest reactions of the devil during exorcism occur when references are made to Mother Mary’s apparitions. The exorcist also reminded that the worst temptation that the devil uses to trap people is money since it offers the possibility of satisfying the impulse that converges in pleasure and power.
As reported by Catholic News Agency, Fr. Sante Babolin remarked that “While I was insistently invoking the Most Holy Virgin Mary, the devil roared: I can’t stand that Mary anymore and neither can I stand you anymore.” The priest pointed out the passage in the book of Genesis in the Holy Bible where God says –“she will crush your head.”
Fr. Sante Babolin encouraged Catholics to always participate in Holy Mass and to organize and take part in prayers at places where offenses were committed. He highlighted that “As far as the inter-personal communication, the sense of sight overtakes the sense of hearing; and consequently the image over the world; that is to say, desire precedes reflection.”, as reported by Catholic News Agency.
