Latin America: The topic of discussion in the Catholic media is a phone call to firefighters in the city of Suede del Este, Paraguay, in the Latin American country, and the miraculous healing that followed. The incident occurred on the 24th of October. One of the firefighters requested the rescue of a baby who was just a month old.
Three employees and a driver immediately arrived at the scene. One of the employees was a former seminary student named George Corvalan. When they arrived at the scene, they found a baby in the arms of a 13-year-old mother. The baby had only a very small impression. Firefighters made several attempts to bring the baby to life on the way to the hospital, but to no avail.

Korvalan asked the nurse to bring a little water to give the baby baptism when he arrived at the hospital. Korvalan says that anyone can give baptism during such an emergency, and that he felt that the child should be surrendered to the hands of God. The moment the baptism began, the baby began to show signs of returning to life.
The baby began to cry as she lay on the stretcher. The baby was immediately transferred to a pediatric emergency ward in the hospital. Later, the baby’s health improved. Many view the event as a miracle. Many testify that God used Korval and his team to save the child’s life.
Firefighters have posted a description of the incident on their Facebook page. Meanwhile, the images of George Korvalan giving bamboozles to a child are now going viral on social media.
