The Kalyan Eparchy Youth’s annual day celebration- Enthuzia 2020 was held on 23rd February at Canossa High School, Andheri East. The event was based on the theme of ‘Volunteerism’. In order to enlighten the youth from across the diocese, the KEY executive members roped in prominent speakers like Mr. Sanjay Jha, National spokesperson for Indian National Congress, Mr. Harsh Khedia, youngest Chef, Entrepreneur, and motivational speaker to be represented by ‘The Outstanding Speakers Bureau’.
“Giving up is the permanent solution to a temporary problem”, said Mr. Jha before registering himself as the first volunteer for the KEY Volunteering initiative called the Extra mile. The website of Extra Mile was launched by Jha himself.
The event was presided over by Msgr. Emmanuel Kadankavil, KEY Director Fr. Dr. George Vattamattom, Asst. KEY Director, Fr. Jobymon Jose, and the honorary guests.
Following the speakers’ interaction, the day was taken over by renowned violinist and composer, Mr. Reji Gopinath and team. With the melodious chords, singers Ramees and Riyana captivated the crowd and brought the enthusiasm alive on the floor. The day concluded with the director announcing the best Forane awards and the lucky draw results. Powai Forane won the best Forane award for the second time in a row.
With a scintillating jam session, the day concluded post-dinner.
