“EVA- Global Symposium on Life” organized by the Pro-Life movement of Eparchy of Kalyan , to promote the culture of life marked its conclusion on 2nd December,2017. The Global Symposium began on 30th November, 2017, with more than 200 delegates including priests & Bishops, religious, seminarians and lay men and women from more than 24 Catholic Dioceses in India and abroad. The Symposium offered a spiritual inspiration to each one present at the Animation Renewal Centre (ARC), Panvel, in which the galaxy of intellectuals welcomed the messages to promote the culture of life, given by the speakers with determination, love and proper understanding.
The speakers presented their research papers with intense confidence and knowledge, which inspired the audience to be more specific in the presented topics. Each paper and sessions gave a proper and tactic information about the dignity of human life and inspired the audience to promote the culture of life and to fight against the culture of death. Each day began with the Adoration of the Holy Sacrament followed by morning prayers and Holy Mass and ended with cultural programs presented by the people of Kalyan Diocese. The papers presented by the research scholars inspired the delegates to stand firm to protect, love and respect human life and dignity. The main 7 objectives of the Symposium focused to create a feeling of moral and spiritual responsibility in each individual, shaping everyone to be accountable for others life as well.
This initiative of the Pro-Life movement of Eparchy of Kalyan under the guidance of Fr. Paul Kunduparambil , director of Pro-Life movement in the diocese has touched and paved a way to reach each individual invoking in them an accountable human personality who would dare to fight for human life. The official launching of the YouTube channel of Kalyan Media Cell named “CatholicFocus”, was also a major attraction on the last day of the event. At the end of the event, every individual who attended the Symposium marked in their hearts the golden words once again “Choose Life…”
