As per the encyclical issued by the Papal Council, the Diocese of Kalyan celebrates the Extraordinary Month of Mission. Today, the fourth day is observed as the day of fasting for the cause of mission.
In a world where we are filled with abundance, let us remember all the poor, underprivileged families in the mission areas. Also let us fulfill this fasting dedicatedly for all the missionaries who tirelessly work for the welfare of impoverished societies.
Let us observe this fast with utmost sincerity and devotion, and let us pray for the mission activities, mission areas and the residents of the mission regions, who are in need of the Christ presence in their lives.
