His Excellency Mar Sebastian Vaniyapurackal, Curia Bishop of the Syro-Malabar Church highlighted that “faith formation teachers should be the carriers of eternal light”. His Grace Mar Vaniyapurackal was addressing the gathering at Thellakam Chaithanya Pastoral center for catechism teachers’ meet under the guidance of Kottayam archdiocese catechism commission.
As reported by Deepika.com, Mar Vaniyapurackal remarked that “Let the catechism teachers be able to deepen their spirituality and faith and receive Eucharistic light from the Holy Mass and be an example in one’s own words and deeds by giving Jesus Christ to others.”
Faith formation commission chairman Fr. Mathew Kochadampally presided over the meeting. Sr. Isabella SJC, KCBC Media Commission Chairman Fr. Jolly Vadakkan, addressed the gathering.
