While the investigation behind the creation of fake documents against his grace Cardinal George Alencherry is under progress, a severe case of conspiracy against the cardinal has been revealed as per the police officials. Police had already arrested a techie named Aditya who was alleged of making fake documents against Cardinal George Alencherry.
The Police investigation reveals that the Conspiracy which was manipulated with the aim of the dethronement of Cardinal George Alencherry has involvement of various priests from the Archdiocese of Angamaly. The Police team investigating the case picked Adityan on Saturday and recorded his arrest on Sunday after a series of interrogation with a few priests. Aditya has been remanded to Judicial custody till May 31. The Probe team has also recovered a Computer from him which was used to create fake documents. According to the Probe team, after Aditiyan’s Interrogation, it became clear that the conspiracy was created to spoil the Cardinal’s image.
This is not the first time that Cardinal is getting Legal relief. Last year, the Division Bench of the Kerala High Court had quashed an FIR against him and three others in an alleged land scam case.
