Forty Hours for Life with the Lord of Life, the divine initiative taken by the Kalyan Eparchy Pro-Life Movement, to promote the culture of life through the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament that is considered as a precious means of attaining life of true discipleship and co-operation with God’s will, marked its end on 23rd September,2017. The spiritual initiative began on 21st September, 2017 from 7 pm at St. Joseph’s Church, Powai. On 23rd September, rosary began at 10:30 am with the faithful gathered at the church praising the Lord Almighty and around 12:30 pm the Holy Mass commenced with Fr. Joby, Fr. Paul and Fr. Sijo as the celebrants for the Sacrament.
Fr. Paul, during the Holy Mass, remarked that “Every life on this earth is precious because our life is a blessing and a gift from the Lord Almighty and He has a purpose and a beautiful plan for our life which becomes the main reason for our existence.” Further, he added, “Mother Mary plays an important role in Pro-life as Jesus, the Savior of the world was born from her and this is the reason that we chose to pray the rosary for this special intention for Pro-life.”
Forty Hours for Life with the Lord of Life became the most divine forty hours of spirituality in the life of every faithful who attended the Adoration these days for the intention of “Eva-Symposium on Life”, which is going to be held from November 30th to December 2nd, 2017. This divine initiative of Kalyan Eparchy Pro-Life Movement was spiritually supported by KLM, KMS, KPV, JNF, KEY, KKK, KCCRS, and JY.
